1. Rifles and machine guns all have the trigger pull test as part of their annual gaging.
  2. A new buttstock for the M16 series rifle has been designed that improves flexibility in confined spaces or close combat.
  3. The new hybrid buttstock is authorized by the CTA 50-970.
  4. This new buttstock is more ergonomically friendly.
  5. When an M16 is turned in, it must be returned to its original configuration, which means the old buttstock must be put back on.
  6. If the M9 is used frequently, then it should be tested every few months, but it must be checked annually.
  7. The M9 didn't have to be annually tested until June 11th, 2011.
  8. The full name of the CTA is the CTA 50-970.
  9. The buttstock should be installed with Wps 0021 and 0025.
  10. WP 0025-8 shows the correct toque for the buttstock when attached.
